Melissa Suzanne George hails from Australia and is a model, actor, businesswoman and inventor. She began her career in Australia and eventually moved to Hollywood in which she has achieved great popularity. George is a native of Perth from Western Australia, began her career in dance and artistic roller-skating. The modeling career of her began at the age of twenty-one, in which she received the Western Australia Teenage Model Award in 1992. Her screen debut was in an Episode of the soap opera series Seven Network's Home and Away the year immediately following. After her debut on screen with Dark City's mystery thriller she played a variety of secondary characters for Alias The Limey, Down with Love and many other films before taking her first role as a female leading lady in mainstream Hollywood with the remake in 2005 of The Amityville Horror. She is currently one of the sought-after Australian expatriates in the American film and entertainment industry. George, as an entrepreneur has introduced her own brand of product Style Snaps on the market.
