Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples has been an American actor and singer for over 20 years. She has received best-recognition for her roles in Nashville, the 2012 drama, in which she played Layla Grant. She also was awarded the prize in Sharknado 2013 where she portrayed Claudia Shepard. In 2015, she was in the role of Jerrica Jem for the movie Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. She is the older sister of Ally. Aubrey was a performer in the Orlando Repertory Theatre in her teens for a period of 10 years. She graduated Lake Mary Preparatory School, in which she was the valedictory for the 2012 class. Harvard University had accepted her. They had agreed to her admission twice in order for her to assume the role in Nashville. Peeples played a role as a guest in the film Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2012) Grey's Anatomy (2005). Peeples was a part of the made-for television movies Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. The latter was her most prominent character in Layla Grant on the Nashville Drama in the second season. In 2019, Peeples admitted to having bipolar disorder during an interview with NKD Magazine. Indiewire identified Peeples at the end of September as among the nation's top young actors.
